The project was a success!
Great job on all our parts! The final presentation & animatic showed us well, I think.
Pleasure working with you guys, good luck with the rest of the work for the other modules for the semester!

Follow up on meeting.
We ended up meeting Paul on Thursday 3rd, 11.30AM in his office.
We're on the right track it seems. He seems happy with our work so far.
--
Sean: Paul stated that your audio all has to be original, even if it's under the Creative Commons licence. It must be original.
Conor: You've got to figure out how much cash we need for this project, if we're able to expand outside of Ireland, where we wanna show it, etc. Also the 500 word treatment is your responsibility.
I've got to create our final imagery by Wednesday, which is the date all of our content has to be ready for.
--
Also, from here on out it may be best if we target the 8-12 audience. Paul explained the large cognitive gap between 2-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds.
Everything has to be submitted by Wednesday, and the Final Presentation is on Thursday.
When should we meet to prepare for Wednesday & the Final Presentation on thursday? Anytime suits me. Our presentation is at 9:50AM, so there's not much time in the morning to prepare unless we're in early.

Meeting with Paul
Last week we had an excellent presentation run, if we can have a run as good as that for the final one we're in the clear :)
We gotta organize a time to meet Paul. How about 5PM this evening or tomorrow?

Presentation this Thursday (26/11/09)
Ok, we have a presentation on Thursday. This will mainly be Conor's responsibility, but Sean and I must be present throughout it for Q&A. We need to accept & share criticism with the class.
The presentation will have to include:
A Powerpoint presentation from Conor (Keep everything short, so you face the class and when you speak, and don't rely on the slides.)
Example work from Sean and I.
The presentation will also need to run on a laptop of some kind. It won't be too hard, we just gotta organize ourselves well.
So, we have to have a meeting ASAP. When suits you all?
Edit: Alright, so, 5PM tomorrow. Excellent.
here's the bulk of completed content that I can offer tomorrow. I have a good few sketches too:
Lugh's Design (Revised)
Lugh's Expressions
Main Area
Main Area with a storm

Lugh's Character Design
Well, here we have it, Lughs final design.
I took eventually took some cues from the likes of Clone High & Dexter's Laboratory. I tried to maintain the overall feel of the character, I just made him more gangly, trying to go for the pubescent greasy agitated git look :)

For 12/11/09
Alright lads, we've got to have some some really great stuff for Paul this week, but as the tasks are pretty large let's have them run through this week and aim to have them at least started, with presentable work, for Thursday & completed for 19/11/09.
Conor - Consolidate research for easy reference
Sean Hamilton - Time Animatic
Mitchell Galavan - Develop argument for style, and choose character style.
